Robotic Snake Arm
A robotic snake arm created with an arduino micro controller and custom motor controller pcb. Used servo motors and dc motors to achieve independent & precise segment motion using joystick controller
❖ Shortlisted and procured parts (DC motors, AC motors, motor drivers, etc.) for the final product
❖ Designed custom pcbs for streamlined control of multiple dc and servo motors
❖ Collaborated with colleague to write arduino code in c that uses joystick input to control movement of snake arm and in mechanical design and creation of final product.
❖ Created software feedback loop using arduino PID library to enhance precision of movement of robotic arm.
